DIY sticker book

December 24, 2016 0
I have to admit, I am a lazy mom, and want to spend less money and time possible on anything.

When ET starts to go crazy about stickers, I am scared.

I love stickers when I was young but never found a good place to put them.

Now I have my own kid, I tried to find a better way to let him have fun, yet not seeing stickers on my furnitures, or places that they don't belong to.

I've done some online research, and amazing moms on internet came up with DIY ideas to make sticker books, I followed.

I tried to find one that has less work, and using materials that I already have.

I know I have these at home:
1. Construction paper
2. 3-ring binder
3. Plastic sheet protectors
4. Cleat tape
5. Cutter (optional)

All I had to do was cutting the construction papers to fit in sheet protector, and using different colors making it more fun/colorful, then tape the sheet protector's opening to prevent falling.

Tada, that's it!

I can bring this book on the road or on the plane. Great for keeping kids busy during travel.

There are more fancy ways to do it, like using wax paper, or laminaters. Do your research and find the best one fitting your needs.

Happy sticking!!!

Introducting and HELLO!

June 16, 2016 0
Hi all, I am Peggy, a full time working graphic designer with a 28-months son, ET.

We are currently living on Long Island, New York, a family of four, including the furry-four-leg, SamSam.

ET and SamSam shares the same birthday, ET was born in 2014, and SamSam was born in 2008.

I've been blogging in Chinese for the past 7 years, and ever since I became a mom, I wanted to blog and share my personal experience for raising ET.

Because I am a full time working mom, I also wanted to create this blog to share some idea about how to raise a kid on a budget.

Although I am a graphic designer, I suck at DIY and crafting.

There are still ways to work with a budget, and spend the wonderful times with children.

Finally, I am moving on and starting one!

For the coming few weeks, I will try to convert my Chinese blog into English and have some flash backs!
